I replaced our living ceiling light with a new LED product today. After all, my choice was domestic AGLED model instead of some fancy European brands, and it wasn't a compromise but a reasonable decision. A fairly sophisticated, straight and plain design although the actual frame could look like cheap plastic. Its thinness contributes creating spacious impression, and the color temperature is adjustable between daylight and bulb equivalents, which I appreciate very much. The retiring old light is shown in the second photo.

Le Klint Swirl -

The lighting topic continues...
I've been looking for an alternative ceiling light for our living room, but Officino stopped handling several brands such as muranodue, and the German website of Trenddesign 24 where I bought a stand a few years ago is now miserable without showing most of products. I have no idea what's happening. We may have to compromise with an ordinary but secure domestic product this time...
A Le Klint light shown here does not match our specs this time, but it looks like a good deal considering the price at Yamagiwa is 81,000 Yen.

In the process of end-year cleaning of the house, we replaced some light balls with LED bulbs, and with this muranodue Gio in the staircase I felt negative with the result, and indeed the photos show it: the left is before and the right is after. Because this particular lighting holds E17 light ball along the surface facing the left (=90 degrees off front) while the lower hemisphere of LED bulbs tend to be the casing structure, the overall brightness will lean toward the left. The reality is worse that what this photo shows. A potential trouble when normal light balls disappear in the future.
