Lizard Skin Bar Tapes Afterward - リザードスキン・バーテープ

2年前に「バーテープの新しい巻き方」と題して紹介したリザードスキンは、滑らないホールド感もクッション性も大いに満足していたのだが、慎ましく使用した結果がご覧のような表面の剥離だ。やや短命だったが、バーテープは毎年交換する消耗品ということかな。そうなるとこの商品はやや割高だと思う。

2 years' conservative use of Lizard Skin bar tapes results in scraped surface as shown. You can compare this with the previous picture in my post "Logical Wrapping of Bar Tapes". I likes this tape very much with its proper cushioning and non-slipping feature, but its life was rather short. Or the bar tapes are something that should be consumed every year? A bit pricy for continued subscription for my wallet...
