Carmen - 来年はオペラ・コミックへ

2009年6月にガーディナー一座がパリで歌劇「カルメン」の公演をするとの告知があった。実は数年前、彼らのモーツァルトのレクイエムとハ短調ミサ曲の公演を同じようにアルハンブラ宮まで出かけて聴いたのが良い体験だっので、これは外せないなと思い、カミさんを説き伏せて、懸案の欧州旅行をこの時期に合わせようという話がまとまり、早速オペラ・コミックのサイトで切符の予約を試みた。すでに残席も少ないようで、2階バルコニーやや斜めという95ユーロの席を選んだ。来年のメインイベントはこれで決まりだ。http://www.opera-comique.com/2009/programme.html


I received an information regarding John Eliot Gardiner and his team to perform Carmen at Opera Comique, Paris in next June. A few years ago, we visited Alhambra, Granada for his Mozart concert which was quite memorable, and I managed to persuade my wife to combine this with our next trip to Europe that we had been discussing. In the Opera Comique web site, the seats' availability seemed already rather limited, but I chose a pair of seats in the second balcony and slightly in the right side for 95 Euros each. Our main event for 2009 has been concluded.
