上の写真は2002年のホテル・ヴィレッジだが、今年はこんな飾りもなくてやや寂しい。今日も、曜日のせいなのか、景気のせいなのか、祝日にしては温泉に人影はまばら。でも西の河原入口近くの駐車場広場にはちょっと可愛いイルミネーションが。
The snow doll photo on top is at Hotel Village of Kusatsu Onsen in 2002 and in contrast it is a little sad to see they got rid of such decorations this year. I wonder if it is due to the day in the week or to the economy, but visitors for the holiday seem very few today. I was delighted to have found a rather pretty illumination at a parking space near Saino-Kawara. Joyeux Noël!
