Morning Promenade
Route 134 is jammed already around 7 o’clock here and there and thus not very convenient for bicycle running. So I came up with anther route for morning promenade without much traffic. I start from Kotsubo harbor in Zushi, take Route 311 for Hase Temple, take north up to Koban-mae signal. Turning to right, the road starts rising slightly and is followed by an uphill of some 70m going up to Yamanouchi Reservoir that is perfect for a short exercise. The reward is the refreshing downhill to Kita-Kamakura. I take the return route passing through the front gate of Tsurugaoka-Hachiman Shrine and then the straight pass of Omachi. The total distance is about 15km and I can cover it within an hour.
