カップリングされた復活祭オラトリオと106番カンタータはともに昔から大好きな曲だ。このリリース予定は合唱団からのDMで知っていたが、ジャケ写を含む発売案内はHMVが初出。2/20の発売が楽しみ。僕が初めて買った復活祭オラトリオのLPはミュンヒンガー指揮・ソプラノにアメリンクのロンドン盤で、1970年発売の愛聴盤だ。ガーディナー／モンテヴェルディ合唱団は昨年8月にプロムスで復活祭及び昇天オラトリオを公演しているが、YouTubeで聞く限り完成度としては今ひとつという印象だったので、この6月録音ではさらに集中度が高いことを祈る。
The coupling of Easter
Oratorio and BWV106, both being long-time favorites of mine, will soon be
released on Feb 20. HMV site now posted its jacket image for the first time. My
first LP of Easter Oratorio was the feature of Munchinger/Ameling bought in
1970. Gardiner/Monteverdi Choir performed this oratorio in 2013 Proms in
August, and it didn’t reach ultimacy in my impression through YouTube. I hope
this recording in June shows more concentration.
