パリに着いて真っ先に行ったのが夜のヴェルサイユ・バスツアーだった。夏の間、土曜日毎にParis Visionが催行しており、18時にテュイルリーを出発、19時から宮殿を見学、夜のツアーは昼間ほど混まないで宮殿をゆったり回れるのが良い。21時に庭園が開場され噴水とBGMが散策を慎ましくあと押しする。時々炎のアトラクションもあってこれは見応えある。空が充分に暗くなる11時を待って花火が始まるので少し早めに中央の階段付近に陣取りして40-50分座って時間つぶしするのがよい。ヴェルサイユは改修が進んで数年前に観た時よりあちこちが少しずつ綺麗になっているようだ。パリに戻るのは真夜中過ぎ。我々が行った20日の夜はアルジェリアがサッカーでナイジェリアを破ったとかでサポーターが溢れたシャンゼリゼが封鎖状態だった。水曜でもないのにそんな試合があるのか？
The first thing we did upon arrival at Paris was the bus tour to Royal Soirée at Versailles. Paris Vision organizes it every Saturday in the summer season starting from Tuileries at 18:00, begin the tour of the Chateau from 19:00, then the garden opens at 21:00 where the water and music invite you to a calm promenade, and when the sky becomes dark enough at 23:00 the fireworks show is the event’s highlight. Advise that you move to the steps in front of the slope early and wait for the show sitting there for about 40 minutes. At Versailles, the renovation continues to make several areas beautiful. You will get back to Paris after midnight. When we came back in 20th evening, Champs-Elysées was completely stuck because the Algerian soccer supporters blocked the boulevard having won against Nigeria as I heard, although I was not sure if such an international match existed on Saturday.
