オケ合わせ - Acroama Animata

今夜はドイツから来日した若者達の合奏団Acroama Animataとオケ合わせの合同練習だった。我々合唱はバッハのカンタータ第4番と第80番を歌うのだが、僕としては今日は散々だった。会場の教会は各パートの音もハーモニーとして聞こえないし、自分がどう歌えばこの空間に収まるのかつかめないまま歌っていた感じで、しかも肝心なところで指揮者のタクトが読み取れなかったりした。演奏会「J.S.バッハの世界」は明日の午後開演。朝からのリハーサルで挽回だ。


We had a rehearsal this evening with Acroama Animata, a German chamber orchestra of the youth. We sing Bach's cantatas No. 4 and No. 80, but I felt rather miserable. In the large church, I could not hear much of other choir parts in harmony and I was singing without confidence regarding how my voice could fit well in this particular space. Also I could not follow the conductor's tact well in a critical passage. The concert is in the afternoon tomorrow, and I can hopefully eliminate my anxiety in the Generalprobe in the morning.
