Mozart Requiem Project - モーツァルト・レクイエム・プロジェクト

ランドン版によるモーツァルトのレクイエム演奏会は無事終了です。 八王子のいちょうホールは歌いやすい会場でした。 これまでにないレベルで演奏ができたと思うので、今は何だかとても満たされたような気分です。ソリストの方からも練習の時とは打って変わって、本当に本番は素晴らしくて感激だったと言ってもらいました。プロジェクトの期間がちょっと短すぎて勿体ないくらいに感じています。その録音CDを手に入れて、改めて冷静に聴いてみたいのですが、配布は数ヶ月先とのこと。外部参加の合唱団員は掛け持ちの人も多いので、それぞれまたあちこちに散らばって行くようです。かく言う僕も来週からバッハのカンタータに集中です。


Mozart’s Requiem concert (with Landon Edition) was well done today. Icho Hall in Hachioji was quite comfortable to sing. The level of our performance was something we have never attained before, and I am now in full of happy feeling. The soloists commented that the concert was amazing and far superior to the rehearsal in the morning. As we kept improving in the last stage, it would have been even better if the project itself had longer duration. I am very interested to hear the recording again carefully, but the delivery of CD is expected several months later. Many members who came from outside of the university also sing in some other choir, and they will go back to where they belong. As for me, I will start concentrating on Bach’s cantatas in a week.
