白内障の手術 第4幕 – My Cataract Operation, Act 4

今日は手術後一週間の診察だった。担当医の話では眼に若干炎症は残っているが、経過は順調なので目薬を軽いものに切り替えるとのこと。これまで5種類の組み合わせだったのが、3種類に整理された。
メガネは視力が安定する2-3ヶ月後に作るのが良いと言われているが、取り敢えず明日にでも眼鏡屋に行って、遠くに焦点が合うレンズを入れて当座しのぎにしておこうと思う。


I had the doctor’s check one week after the operation today. He said that my eyes still had a slight inflammation but all looked quite good after all, therefore the lighter set of eye lotion-medicines was arranged.
It is said that the new glasses should be made after the eye condition has been fully stable in 2 to 3 months, but as I need glasses focusing the far distance, I plan to go to the shop tomorrow to replace the lenses as an interim solution.
