iPad Preordered – iPadの予約開始

今日は月末発売のiPad予約受付が始まる日だ。これまでひたすら無言に徹していたアップルからは朝の4時半頃に通知メールが届いた。僕は5時半に起き出してオンラインストアに入ってみたが、果たして予約プロセスがすでに用意されていて、配達日を確認すると「28日までに」となっていたので、迷わず64Gモデルとカメラ接続キットを発注した。これまでMacBook等でディスク容量が10Gを下回ると異様に動作が重くなる経験があるし、今Airに入っているデータもiTunes音楽が20G、iPhotoが8Gあるので、余裕はあるに越したことはないと考えた。いよいよこれで月末からの旅行はiPadを伴っての出発だ。


Today starts the iPad preorder for its end-of-month shipping. Apple that kept silent until last night distributed a notice mail around 4:30 in the morning. I woke up at 5:30 and visited Apple Store site where a process for reservations was ready. Checking the delivery timing, it said “by 28th”, and I booked a 64G model and a Camera Connection Kit without hesitation. As for the disk size, I had experienced in the past an exceptional slowness when the machine’s remaining disk capacity got below 10G, and also, I have in my MacBook Air the data of 20G iTunes and 8G iPhoto now, therefore the richer the capacity gets, the more comfortable the function is expected. Anyway, I think I can start my trip in the end of May carrying an iPad.
