Staying out of Tokyo -

As we had enough aftershocks, and overviewing multiple factors, my wife was determined to encourage our daughter’s family to visit the relatives down south in Fukuoka to allow sufficient distance from the ongoing turmoil because the grandchildren got strangely uneasy (scheduled electricity shutdown and commodity shortage affected for the worse), and essentially because the worry of radioactive risk was increasing. She led this trip for herself under the pretext of extra hands, and they flew out the day before yesterday just like many foreign people flying home. She then strongly invited me from there to join, so I am checking the flight availability now. Evacuation was common during the war, but for us born afterward, it is actually the first experience to do this kind of thing.
