野田・安住の言動を見ていると増税まっしぐらで、公務員改革、年金改革、歳費節減などの優先テーマは最早放棄して、完全に霞ヶ関のスポークスマン内閣に成り下がっている。

I am reading Shigeaki Koga’s book “The Collapsing Mainstay of Japan” now in which the author explains comprehensively how DPJ went their track off. According to him, the single only minister in DPJ’s cabinet who kept confronting to the bureaucrat system was Akira Nagatsuma.
Judging from the behavior of Messrs. Noda and Azumi, they simply try to dash for the tax raise giving up such prior and fundamental issues as civil servant reformation, pension system reformation, or cutting annual expenditure. They are almost or entirely bureaucrats’ spokesmen.
