
Claiming myself a serious “follower” of Monteverdi Choir, I have decided to travel to Paris again in June to see them at Opera Comique. The performance this year is Debussy’s “Pelleas and Melisande”. I have chosen the seats in the first row in the lower balcony based on the lesson I had last year. I have never listened to Gardiner playing Debussy. One concern I have is another concert in Leipzig Bachfest two days later. They perform B-minor Mass in St. Thomas Church, and I still cannot decide if I extend the trip despite my original plan flying back home on the day…
