Kontxa -
Concha Bay, the figurehead of San Sebastian, is a beautiful and relaxing beach. It was only a few minutes walk from the lodging, and above all it is fine today! End to end, the beach is of very fine sand, and many people come here to to lay down and bake themselves under the sun, and some were topless sun-bathers. Others come to walk on the beach. Taking my shoes off, I walked the bay myself and it was much better than a walk from Zaimokuza to Yuigahama in Kamakura.
To have the entire view of the beach, you would climb Monte Igeldo on the left taking Funicular cable car. The hill top was nothing but a humble amusement park for kids except for the view. I took a promenade downhill which was about 30 minutes. There was a gate closed to collect fees for cars to come, but walkers can go under the steel gate.
