Pauillac - ポイヤック独り歩き: 6/01

昨日はポイヤックまでバスで出掛けてポンテ・カネのワイナリーを訪ねました。成田で出発間際にメールでお願いしてみたら、その日のうちに返事が来ていました。
まずボルドーの観光案内に行ってポイヤックへの行き方を聞いたところ、ネット情報とは違って、市内カンコンス広場ではなく、トラムC線のLes Aubiers(レゾビエ)まで行ってそこでジロンド・バスに乗るように言われました。トラムを降りたら、来た方向に少し戻ったバス停に705番バスが来るので乗換は簡単。但し往きは7:33か10:49のバスしかありません。このルートはなかなか凄くて、シャトーマルゴー、ベイシュビル、コンテスラランドなどを窓から見ながらポイヤックに入ります。乗る時に運転手さんにポイヤックのMaison de Tourisme (観光案内)に行きたいと言ったので、Cite Scoraireで降ろしてくれました。料金は9ユーロで乗る時に精算します。学校らしき施設を左に、しばらく来た方向に戻るのですが、取り付く島が何もないようなところなので不安は大きいだろうし、普通の旅行者にはあまりお薦めはできない。僕はジロンド川に出れば何とかなると思って左寄りに進み、ようやく川が見えたら目的の案内所は右手に見えたので、まずはそこで街の地図をもらいます。


「歩きなら20分程度」と言われたのですが、実はそうは行かず、閑散とした街を過ぎて線路を越え、左に入るとやがて舗装路がなくなり、ワイン畑の中を歩いてやがてシャトーが右手に見えたというのは裏に来てしまったことになります。到着に街から40分はかかってしまいました。舗装路に従うべきでした。トロントからのカップルとラロシェルからの彼等の友人が2時のツアーのビジターで僕の到着を待っていて、ギリギリセーフでした。
ポンテカネは近年有機農法に力を入れているそうで、刈り入れなどに車両を持ち込むと、その重量で畑が傷むため馬を使うのだそうです。
シャトー・ツアーはmange-ouで報告することにして、あとはムートン・ロートシルドまで歩いてみました。これは遠くもないし良いウオーキングです。残念ながら今は重要な作業に入っているので来客は受けていないとのこと。帰りのバスは16時半で近くのPouyaletから乗りましたが、車に頼らないワイナリーツアーとなるとこれくらいが1日の限度のようです。








In the first morning, I went to the office of tourism in Bordeaux for the direction for Chateau Pontet-Canet because I sent a request mail of a visit at Narita airport as I was about to leave and their reply was waiting for me when I got to the room in bordeaux.
I was instructed to take tram C upto Les Aubiers and transfer to #705 Gironde bus there. It was quite easy but there were only two services in the morning at 7:33 and 10:49. It was an amazing route passing through Chateau Margux, Beycheville, Comtesse Lalande and others to get to Pauillac. At la maison de tourisme de Pauillac, I obtained a map and started walking. The lady at the information said roughly 20 minutes, but it was not that close. Passing through the town without an appeal, going over the railway, I took the road toward left, and soon it became totally unpaved ending up in the middle of vineyards. Proceeding further, I recognized the chateau building on my right, which means that I came in the backside. It took more than 40 minutes from the town to the entrance where a couple from Toronto and their friends from La Rochelle were waiting for the last visitor's arrival for 2 o'clock tour, and I just made it.
The guide said that they are making more emphasis on bio and even started using horses because bringing heavy vehicles in the vineyards potentially causes damages to the field.

After Pontet-Canet, I walked further to Mouton-Rothchild which was conveniently close for a nice promenade. Unfortunately, they had rather Important process going on and not accepting visits for the period.
Considering the return bus at 16:30 from Le Pouyalet, this was pretty much all that I could handle in a day without a car.
